Logo Usage Rules
The usage of certification logos is regulated by following guidelines and rules:
Guideline for the use of the certification logo/certificate and certificates of Stratlane Certification BV and the accreditation symbols
These Charters and the associated use of the certification logo, the certificates, the certificates and the certificates of Stratlane Certification BV apply to all customers. After receiving your certificate or certificate from Stratlane Certification BV, you are entitled to use our certification logo for advertising.
Note: The use of logos of the accreditation bodies is generally prohibited!
When using the certification logo, certificates and certificates
When using the certification logo, certificates and certificates, the following requirements must be observed:
1. The right to use the Stratlane Certification BV certification logo, certificates and deeds is limited to the scope and period of validity of the certificate/certificate.
2. The company may advertise the certificate and/or the certificate by:
- displays the original certificate and/or certificate in framed form in the company,
- use the certificate and/or certificate as a whole (not in part) in advertising materials and on the homepage or other business material.
3. The certification logo of Stratlane Certification BV is only used for business purposes, and only on documents for business correspondence and advertising purposes.
4. The certification logo of Stratlane Certification BV may not be applied directly to a product or used in such a way as to give the impression that it refers to the conformity of a product with the underlying set of rules. If the certification logo is used on product packaging and/or accompanying information, the following additional points apply. Product packaging is defined as the part that can be removed without the product disintegrating or being damaged. Accompanying information is considered to be available separately or easily removable. Nameplates or identification plates are considered part of the product.
- The statement, including the certification logo of Stratlane Certification BV, must in no way imply that the product, process or service is certified.
- The statement must refer to as well as:
- The designation (e.g. brand or name) of the certified customer
- The type of management system (e.g. quality, environment) and the standard applied
- The CA that issued the certificate
5. The certification logo of Stratlane Certification BV may only be used together with the name of the company, the area of validity and with the Stratlane Certification BV certificate/certificate number.
6. The certification logo of Stratlane Certification BV must not be changed graphically and must not be distorted when resized. Furthermore, it must not be used in a size for which the Stratlane Certification BV certification logo is not suitable and will result in a blurred or pixelated image. In case of problems with the display, Stratlane Certification BV should be contacted and consulted.
7. The certification logo of Stratlane Certification BV may not be used on laboratory test reports, calibration certificates, inspection reports or certificates.
8. Stratlane Certification BV will pay attention to the correct display and use within the scope of its possibilities. In the event of violations of the listed conditions, Stratlane Certification BV has the right to take the following measures, depending on the severity of the violation:
- written reminder
- written reminder with conditions
- Threat of withdrawal of certification/approval
- Withdrawal of certification / approval
- extraordinary termination
9. The certification logo-Stratlane Certification BV, the certificates and the deeds may not be transferred to legal successors or to other organizations.
10. After suspension, withdrawal or cancellation of a certification, the Client must cease all advertising with the certification and return certificates and certificates to Stratlane Certification BV. A right of retention is excluded.
11. The use of the certification logo of Stratlane Certification BV must only be made in the form shown below with reference to the certificate/measure/document number.
12. The use of the name, address and certification mark of the certification body; other signs (e.g. accreditation symbols) may be used if care is taken to ensure that they are not misleading or ambiguous and only in compliance with all the requirements of the Stratlane Certification BV Charter and the regulations of the relevant accreditation body and the relevant accreditation standards as well as the applicable legal provisions.
